The pomegranate is a metaphorical fruit rich in mythologies and symbols, always significant throughout history and cultures. In my installation it is “The state of grace”: a very powerful beam of light should illuminate it but a cone of shadow hides it since this state is never reachable: human nature is restless, always guided by the desire for something that one craves and when it is reached it proves not so desirable. So you move on to the next object to reach always in the grip of desire.
