Bourgeois’ Father clearly references Louis Bourgeois’s works. My art piece intends to investigate the dynamics of a domestic environment, even the toxicity of them. In this domestic dimension my focus relies on the paternal figure, inopportune and cumbersome, a never ending source of malaise and discomfort. My work strives to ignite the reflection on toxic masculinity, by making it visible and tangible.
